From time to time, most people have thought about bondage in one way or another, some at the extreme end, and some have more sedate fantasies.
Nine times out of ten, some sort of restraint is involved, and for hundreds of years, the simplest form of restraint has been rope.
Don’t go down to Bunnings and buy off the shelf nylon rope. It’s not going to be fun, and it’s not going to be gentle – the nylon or polypropylene rope that they sell might be cheap, but it burns, cuts and hurts, and that’s why, when it comes to rope for bondage, natural fibre is the only sensible choice. It costs more to produce, but it’s supposed to be a pleasant experience, so do it right. Look after your rope by storing it neatly and in a cool place, and it will last years.
This retail packaged 100% cotton rope, specifically designed for bondage, comes in black, pink, purple and red. It’s 10 metres long and 8mm thick. You can cut it into smaller pieces if you like, if you do, we recommend sealing the ends with tightly and neatly applied electrical insulation tape to prevent fraying.
10 metres is about right for tying hands and feet – 5 metres should be sufficient for just hands or just feet.
And to get you on your way, we’ll include absolutely FREE our 12 page detailed rope guide, which will ‘show you the ropes’ with knots, safety precautions, including which parts of the body to choose for bondage (and importantly - which parts to avoid).
